Our Learn to Fly Fishing courses will create enough technical know how and confidence to enable the new fly fisher to venture out on their own on our wild Ontario Rivers. That is our goal. We want you to enjoy the learning experience. We want you to feel confident about your new knowledge and skills.
Experienced angler? Looking for a trophy Brown Trout or a fresh Steelhead? We know the rivers and have the experience to hook you up.
Corporate Fly Fishing Days are a specialty of Calmwaters. We love to see a corporate day come together and be part of your team building experience with colleagues or customers on the Grand River in Fergus Ontario.

Calmwaters guides on all rivers of South Central Ontario and spends many a day on the Grand River Tailwaters for Brown Trout, the Maitland River and Saugeen River for Steelhead, Trophy Smallmouth Bass and Musky.

Calmwaters Fly Fishing is a growing Guiding business located in Southern Ontario – Welcoming anyone into the River, our philosophy is to create an experience that is guided by the driving force of nature and education alike.
Calmwaters offers Fly Guides, Corporate Fly Fishing events, Corporate Career Training and Team Building
Calmwaters is hyper aware of our excellent positioning within the Technology industry here in Southern Ontario. Nestled neatly between Kitchener-Waterloo and Toronto, we offer Corporate Fly Fishing excursions for those within the budding and established tech community.
Often dubbed Canada’s Silicon Valley, KW and Toronto are within 1 hour of each other, surrounded by our robust river and lake systems. Calmwaters handles a variety of offerings for team recreation, team building, coaching and mentoring.
Our market sits at desks all day. Now they don’t have to.
Calmwaters will have a robust Guiding Team that services all of Southern Ontario, focusing primarily on building lasting relationships with the rivers and its inhabitants. Jeff will be expanding his services to Salt Water Guides and destination excursions.
Our work within the Tech sector will take Calmwaters to physical space – A Technology Corporate Retreat for team excursions, executive off-sites, brand development and team wellness.
